Adjustments

  • Avoid doing Caraíva and Arraial on consecutive days if you don’t enjoy long drives.

Frequently asked questions

What does the 5-day itinerary add?

A day to the north: the Taípe and Pitinga cliffs and Arraial d'Ajuda's village center, with the Nossa Senhora d'Ajuda Church and Rua do Mucugê.

Can I spend the night in Arraial?

Yes, and it can be a good idea if you want to enjoy an evening on Rua do Mucugê without driving back.

Do I need two low tides?

No. One is enough, for Espelho.

What is the ideal order?

Fit Espelho in first according to the tide; put Caraíva and Arraial on non-consecutive days so you don't stack up road trips.
