Why check Cadastur

Cadastur is the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism’s registry of tourism service providers. Under Law No. 11,771/2008, it is mandatory for accommodation, travel agencies, tourist transport companies, event organizers, theme parks and tourist campsites. Lookups are public and free.

Why are there no phone numbers or WhatsApp?

It is an editorial rule of the guide. We show the name, address, official website and the source of the information. Contact is made through the business's own channels.

Does being in the directory mean a recommendation?

No. A listing only means the details were checked in a public source. Sponsorship, when it exists, is always labeled.
