Trancoso Guide (trancosoguide.com) is an independent travel guide to Trancoso and its surroundings: the Quadrado, the beaches, Espelho Beach, Caraíva, history, itineraries and practical information to plan your trip.
Who we are
The guide is maintained by Daniel Ferreira’s portfolio of travel and service websites. The company responsible is 4D Desenvolvimento Pessoal Ltda., CNPJ 49.142.726/0001-58.
We are not an official website
This is not the website of Porto Seguro City Hall, the Bahia State Government or any public body, hotel or agency. We do not sell tours or make bookings. For public services, use each body’s official channels.
How we work with sources
- Official sources first. We prefer Porto Seguro City Hall, the Bahia State Government, the Brazilian Navy, ICMBio, IPHAN, IBGE, universities and the official websites of attractions.
- Nothing made up. Prices, times, distances and dates only appear when there is a source. Without one, we say it varies and point to where to confirm it.
- No fictional experiences. We do not write that we “visited” or “tested” anything.
- Date checked. Pages with information that changes show when they were checked and which sources were used.

The guide may display ads and, in the future, partner links and sponsored listings in the business directory. Paid content, when it exists, is always labeled and does not change our editorial rules.
